How we built it
We thought to resolve the problem using Hedging the whole market while calculating the spread between the stocks and its basket. We started trying to learn what the examples given do, and we used it as a structure to our own algorithm.
Challenges we ran into
The main difficulties were that neither of us knew how to use Python, so we learned it on the go and how to understand the basics of the trading market. We also tried to do like a reverse Hedging depending on the spread of the stocks, but it was a complete failure and we had to abort this task.
What we learned
We are fully aware that the bot isn't complete and has some majors flaws regarding the stock limit and how to operate when the spread is not how we want it to be, and the results depend on the market state too much. But we also think that it's not a bad bot for some first-timers into trading and Python.
