Inspiration
What inspires us the most is the theme which is Smart cities, because we are a team that already developed an IOT Solutions, so when the theme was announced, we said it's for us, we're gonna work as hard as possible and enjoy the moments. So that was inspiration about creating an IOT solution that we'll be proud of in the few comming days.
What it does
Well, it reduces global traffic delay by optimizing trafic lights system by making it adaptive with traffic density.
How we built it
First thing, We created a modal that counts the number of vehicules in each road and generate optimum traffic delays values The pictures are taking by a camera using a Raspberry Pi and send them to the server where all the computations are made
Challenges we ran into
For the developement team, we were really challenged by facing something new which was creating map apps which was maybe new and that was the challenge for us Also we had a problem with manipulating the data between the raspberry and the server
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're really proud by the idea first which i believe it'll be implemented in our roads
and the IOT product we made, and as i said first, The inspiration was
to create an IOT solution that we'll be proud.

What we learned
First of all, we learned how to implement Deployement Diagram as the first step to implement a few of the Software Engenering methods in our solution Also For the developement team, we learned a lot of things in just a weekend it's huge for us I'll mention React, React-native, TailwindCSS, LeafletJS ( For creating maps ) For the server team, they learned a lof of things like developing Ai modals for image processing and calculating Density for each road That was a good begininng and implementing it using a RaspBerryPi 4 which was the coolest part and the most challenging
What's next
I really think that we can do a lot of stuff if we have a theme like this We'll develop ourselves to learn Next13 and implementing in server to get a clean product Also enjoy every moment in a Hackathon
