Inspiration

It is our first time entering a hackathon and we all wanted to optimize a game. A hangman computer can calculate the letter with highest frequency based on the length of letter and use of the word in English language

What it does

A computer guesses your hangman

How we built it

Using Python Flask, we created a webserver to ask the dictionary what the most common letter left is at that word length.

Challenges we ran into

We are new to programming, implementing flask was challenging

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We worked together and combined the frontend and backend together. It took a lot of communication

What we learned

We never used Flask before and learning how to optimize finding letter frequency were really interesting problems to solved

What's next for Optimized Hangman

Implementing more features of the algorithm to include common letter pairings and grouping. The aesthetics could be improved
