Inspiration

Event planning is stressful and scattered across too many tools. We wanted to simplify the entire process into one organized platform.

What it does

Optimus is an all-in-one event planning platform that lets users manage guests, budgets, tasks, vendors, answer questions, and design their venue in 2D and 3D.

How we built it

We built it with NEXT.js, Planner5D, Gemini, OpenAI, Vercel and other tools.

Challenges we ran into

Designing an accurate 2D-to-3D layout system was complex, and keeping the platform simple while powerful was a constant challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully centralized the entire event planning workflow and built a floor planner that brings event spaces to life digitally.

What we learned

We learned that simplicity requires thoughtful design and that user flow is everything in complex tools.

What's next for Optimus

We plan to start letting people use the website, expand AI features, and add more collaboration tools for teams.
