OptiMe

Sci-fi has been my favorite genre of movie for the past few years. The once imaginative worlds that were created in these movies seem so feasible in todays world. Being able to work harmoniously with machines would create a new paradigm for humanity. This process should be done harmoniously and with humans in mind. The app was a pet idea I had that would incorporate the best of both worlds allow humans to take advantage of the technology we have. When attempting to make this a reality I was held up by the poor quality of data that I had access to. Since, I didn't have the time to reach out to researchers and get data that fit exactly with what I wanted to do I had to make what was publicly available work. I also have no experience building apps as I have just done data science work and underestimated the difficulty this posed. I was able to stretch myself with this project and be able to get my hands dirt with some advanced data processing, machine learning, and neural networks.
