We propose FARMalytics, an integrated hardware–software solution designed to tackle agricultural challenges like groundwater wastage, low yields, and limited market access.

The system uses IoT-enabled sensors to monitor soil moisture, pH, temperature, and humidity, transmitting real-time data to a central mobile app. The app provides:

Automated irrigation & climate control (based on soil/crop needs)

Weather updates from IMD & Google Maps

Soil analysis & crop recommendations

Marketplace for seeds and produce

This enables farmers to make data-driven decisions, reduce resource wastage, and improve productivity. Powered by renewable energy (solar panels), the system is affordable, scalable, and user-friendly, designed specifically for Indian farming conditions.

Unique Value: Unlike isolated solutions, FARMalytics combines sensors, weather data, analytics, and market access in one integrated platform, ensuring precision farming, sustainability, and profitability.

Execution Plan:

Prototype development (TRL 3) within 24 months

Estimated cost: ₹50 lakhs (with ₹5 lakhs GOI assistance for prototyping)

Target Users: Farmers, Agri-entrepreneurs, and rural communities, especially those facing irrigation inefficiency, climate risks, and market instability.

IP & Protection: Patent filing for hardware design and sensor–software integration, software copyright, trademark for product identity, and NDAs with partners.

Impact: FARMalytics empowers farmers with real-time insights, automated systems, and market linkages, driving sustainable agriculture, higher yields, and better incomes.
