Inspiration

THEME : Environmental development by optimizing the in-use resources

Our project is mainly focused on reducing the waste materials in the environment and improvising the competence of effective utilisation of accessories which we come across on a daily basis by following three methods.

What it does

We are providing 3 different choices to the users where they can select according to their requirements They are: Revamp, Condense and Bestow.

REVAMP

STOP!! Don't waste Scrap. Re-Use it

This part of the application lets users discover and implement better usage techniques with the product they're using and improvise their usage by expert suggestions and services from respective field experts. (for e.g: If a user wants to reuse an item consider left over wooden pieces, they can opt REVAMP , Here we optimize the product by consulting an interior designer for the right decor ideas with existing materials. An separate log in ID would be given to the respective interior designer who could display their portfolio to undertake orders. )

CONDENSE

This feature gives adequate usage suggestions to the users and the required amount of resources for serving the purpose. This leads to saving costs on unnecessary expenditure. (for e.g. User can search for advices from the experts to use their products efficiently )

BESTOW

If in case the user is in excess of resources which they are willing to sell or donate, a separate window for such operations will be provided. This feature works like an E-Commerce platform to trade used and unused items.

How we built it

We are creating a two sided networking App using Programming language: DART Database : Firestore Platform: Firebase which is a part of Google cloud platform. We are using Flutter for Front End, open-source UI software development kit.

Challenges we ran into

The process of identifying the target users was a tedious job. Accumulating pain points from the users was challenging since every user had different needs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the solution we have found out for the existing problem which was unnoticed by the majority. Our attempt to improvise and better the existing system is what makes us proud of ourselves.
