Inspiration

Modern cloud-native deployment pipelines move extremely fast, but security checks often remain reactive bottlenecks. We wanted to build an intelligent, open-infrastructure agent that continuously monitors DevSecOps pipelines, detects infrastructure drift, and automatically remediates vulnerabilities without slowing down engineering workflows.

What it does

OpsShield AI acts as an autonomous DevSecOps guardian running on open infrastructure. It scans continuous integration pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and container configs in real time. When misconfigurations or vulnerabilities occur, OpsShield AI generates self-healing pull requests, precise inline code fixes, and verified threat models.

How we built it

  • Inference & Models: Integrated Nebius AI Cloud endpoints running open-weights LLMs (such as Qwen and Llama 3) for deep static analysis and context-aware security remediation.
  • GPU Compute: Deployed model orchestrators and agent pipelines on high-performance NVIDIA GPU infrastructure for minimal latency.
  • Security & RAG Engine: Built a retrieval-augmented generation backend connected to OWASP standards, NIST frameworks, and SonarQube rules to validate generated code patches.
  • Control Layer: Developed a streamlined dashboard and developer CLI tool to visualize full patch lineage and policy compliance.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing ultra-low latency continuous pipeline scanning with comprehensive LLM reasoning was our biggest hurdle. Optimizing token throughput over Nebius GPU nodes and engineering strict structural JSON outputs for automated pull requests required careful prompt engineering and backend pipeline tuning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Delivering sub-second policy evaluation on complex multi-service Terraform and Kubernetes manifests.
  • Establishing an auditable, transparent decision trail so developers can review auto-generated fixes before merge.

What we learned

Leveraging open-infrastructure models hosted on Nebius AI Cloud with NVIDIA GPUs makes real-time, autonomous agent loops fully practical for modern enterprise software pipelines.

What's next for OpsShield AI

  • Adding agentic multi-node support for real-time runtime threat mitigation across live Kubernetes clusters.
  • Expanding native webhook integrations for GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Bitbucket.
