Inspiration

Inspiration was Reddit and Reddit Users itself. How people on Reddit love sharing hot takes and debating.

What it does

Opinionators is game in which Players can Agree or Disagree to an Opinion and comment their Opinion as well. They can also Post their Opinion in Quote style and let other people Judge their Opinion.

How we built it

I used Devvit, React, Tailwind CSS, and Vite for the whole game, to keep it simple and yet Elegant.

Challenges we ran into

Custom UI to look crisp and Colors needs to be Used, was one of the biggest challenges that I faces. The game was using Light mode first but later I felt like Dark mode will be much more loved by the Users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Able to Imeplement this 3D card design, UI and the whole concept on which this game is based on, is what I am really proud of.

What we learned

Devvit Webview capabilities, use of React and Reddit Backend.

What's next for Opinionators

Debate thread is what I am Really looking for as well as Custom badges for the regular users.
