As owners, we experienced the frustration of repeatedly answering the same questions, digging through SOPs, and striving to keep our teams aligned during rush hours and periods of high turnover. We realized that knowledge wasn't the issue; accessibility was.

What it does

Connects directly to your internal documents, such as training manuals, checklists, policies, and procedures, and transforms them into a conversational knowledge assistant. Employees and managers can ask questions like:

Challenges we ran into

• Unstructured data: Most restaurant documents weren’t clean or standardized. We had to preprocess PDFs, Word files, and scanned checklists to make them searchable and accessible.
• Reducing hallucinations: Ensuring the AI only responds based on internal documents requires prompt tuning, reranking, and strict retrieval filters to minimize the likelihood of hallucinations.
• User intent variability: Staff often ask questions informally, so we optimized our system to handle vague or loosely phrased questions.
