Inspiration

People tend to travel in similar patterns, mainly from suburban areas to the city center which cause traffic jam. There are several solutions, such as working from home and using reliable public transportation systems available in developed cities.

But what about developing or least-developed cities? This presents an opportunity for a carpooling app.

What it does

The app enable you to be a driver or passenger, you can add your daily commuting route like from home to office, or home to school. Passenger then able to find a driver with similar route based on geolocation, the driver must accept the request. it also have schedule view to show the route on current day

How we built it

we use react as frontend and supabase as backend

Challenges we ran into

calculating distance is not an easy task

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we able to integrate with leaflet

What we learned

we learn how to make component reusable and dynamic based for example feature for driver and passenger are different
