Inspiration

The OPEN WEB TRUST fundamentally changes the game for exchanging & attesting anything of value online. OPENWEB.trust embodies open web native tools, processes & values to enable to distribute funding (grants / investments) from a DAO with a legal entity behind in Switzerland. Purpose:

The purpose of OPENWEB.trust is to serve:

0) NEAR Ecosystem: Provide a continuous playbook for implementing, launching & operating a legally incorporated NEAR native investment DAO

1) Investors: Getting exposure to ultra early-stage high risk/reward NEAR dedicated investments

2) Startups: Offer the best NEAR native startups access to a transparent, full-service and fast-track funding arm

What it does

User-journey:

Adding investors to the DAO

Investors go through skin of fund3r to become whitelisted in dao to contribute trust
Investors gets added and sue payout proposal
Dao approval

DAO operations:

1) all members are invited to a closed discord splitted up in different stages of a deal

Processing investments:

Startups go through the reskin of fund3r to submit their deck.
If lead is approved it in via the members discord goss through the soft polling process
If there is consensys, deal lead will post deal memo
Deal lead proposes on-chain vote to DAO
If approved the dao payout is triggered and outgoing “invoice” is generated

How we built it

The OPEN WEB TRUST will be operated using a number of on-chain & off-chain processes.

Off-chain components:

-Instance of FUND3R submission module for a streamlined process for startups to submit leads -Members only Discord for discussing, soft-polling & day-to-day coordination, including a number of Discord BOTs to streamline operations -Members only closed forum for publishing deal memos -Calendly for a streamlined meeting scheduling process -HelloSign for agreement signing with investors & investees -Persona KYC provider for a streamlined verification process

On-chain components:

-Sputnik v3 contracts as escrow & voting layer using AstroDAO user-interface to trigger votes & transactions

Challenges we ran into

It's very difficult do get funding into astro DAOs automated. We did not have time to do a proper video of the full FUND3R flow, so we used Sandoche's existing demo video of FUND3R.
