What is OpenSelery about?
I (Tobias Augspurger) will send 10000€ over the next weeks to Corona related OS projects in form of Bitcoin with the OpenSelery Software.
Add Open Source Corona Projects to the List to get donations

What it does
OpenSelery can donate to any Github Project and it's dependencies by gathering the email addresses via the Github API and sends Bitcoin to project related users. To get Selery you just need to make you email address visible in your Github profile. Coinbase will automatically send you an email if you do not have a account on the platform.
How I built it
Check the README from the OpenSelery Project.
Challenges I ran into
The distribution of the money is quite complex. That's why random contributors are chosen by the OpenSelery. The integration of the release weights is still ongoing
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
OpenSelery supports most package system and all github projects. It can also be integrated into the Github CI to create a money distribution with every release you make.
What's next for OpenSelery
- Testing, finding Bugs and the integrations of the release weights to increase the chance for the contributor of the last release to get donations.
- Visualization of a simulation run that shows you how the donation distribution would look like after x runs.
- Support for Paypal, Stripe and Gitlab
