Generic NPCs bored me, and I was and I'm still developing my Indie game. Such a framework that allowed quality interaction with NPCs would have been an advantage for me at that stage of development, so I went "why not?" and developed OpenNPC.

What I accomplished from that was, I had a reliable system framework for my game's development environment that I could use to interact with NPCs in my game. ( In case you're not familiar, NPC = Non Playable Characters , essentially those random people / things /beings that move behind in a game, well most games.)

You could try out the web demo I built using Unity, but be reminded that's not the actual capacity of the framework, if you want to check that out, I'd suggest you run the model locally and try it out. The API endpoint can be integrated into any game engine you're using.
