Inspiration

I faced some confusion entering grade 9 because of the equation of a line, so I wanted to make sure nobody else faced that.

What it does

BKT and RandomForest to help tell you what you need to work on based on question accuracy, time spent per question, and question difficulty.

How we built it

I used AI to train the models and provide small datasets, and then just connected it to a front end.

Challenges we ran into

Trying to get the supabase to work to make information save.

What's next for OpenMath AI

Make a deep learning system with reinforcment learning and using a large dataset of questions from other topics and different grades to train the AI from the ground up. Make it more duolingo style where a character can help you out and monitor the steps the student takes, what misconceptions they may have based on the steps taken, and more. Also, I will add mini games to see if the student can learn in that manner as well and test themselve. Also, adding a community based system and having video lessons as well.
