Inspiration

As students, we often had a lot of trouble juggling all our responsibilities: schoolwork, internship, family obligations, and more. There are 168 hours in a week, and needing to divide each responsibility we have, Plate was created.

What it does

How we built it

Using Notion to plan out what each person had to do and what the project will be about, each team member went to work and collaborated using GitHub.

Challenges we ran into

We were in different timezones so it was a small challenge to collaborate. There were 2 team members doing frontend and 1 team member doing backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Tasha learned React. Isabel utilized API's for the first time. Vitalii gained experience working with Spring Validation.

What's next for Plate

We are looking to add a calendar function and add more items to Plate.
