Even nowadays it isn't possible to simply send a file from your phone to your pc without sending it to an third party server.
What it does
It sends files from one device to another via TCP sockets.
How we built it
We used Xamarin Forms to build the app mostly cross plattform so we don't need to write code for every platform.
Challenges we ran into
Weird Visual Studio bugs, different IDE versions and how to use TCP Sockets with C#.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It almost works by now...
What we learned
Missing documentation lets the time needed to implement expotentially grow.
What's next for openFiles
Implementation for iOS, encrypted data transfer
