Inspiration : We got inspired by the crisis itself. Because of the situation the government and the world needs all the help they can get. And we can help, so why shouldn´t we? Before that we already thought and worked about digitize the health system and also the patient records. So this topic is very interesting for us and we are proud to help winning the war against corona.
What it does: It gives an overview about the coronacrisis. It is also a chance to install a good working early detection system, where people can send their symptoms. On the other side doctors can help. They can register themselves to get information about the people who sent us their symptoms and can visit them at home, after the website matched both parts.
How I built it: first we used static data from Robert-Koch-Institut and the John-Hopkins-Institut. Now we try to use live-updates. We worked with php and java script and we use API´s.
Challenges I ran into: Collect all the data needed. Get enough support to make it work and become a success.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: self updating numbers, the factual layout and data. And we are proud, that we worked in a team and made it possible. We are only 5 people, but we are very arranged :).
What I learned: We grow with the tasks.
What's next for openfile.sk get the mobile version done. increase reachability, so that we can fasten up the process of diagnosis and the safety for the citizen.
