Inspiration

Over contributions and spam in Hactoberfest for the rush to complete in the month of October.

What it does

Let opensource repository owners list their repository in the openfest campaign by paying a fee. Opensource contributors can contribute to those campaigns which typically last for one month and bag some swags and bounties.

How we built it

Still under development using the MERN stack.

Challenges we ran into

It's difficult as a solo developer to manage UI/UX along with Full Stack Development and a full-time job.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have been successful in getting the core idea of the product to work well at an initial stage.

What we learned

Getting the idea executed from scratch as a solo developer and several challenges faced during the development lifecycle.

What's next for Openfest Live

Get a round of small funding so that we can reach production standards and get some traffic on the application.
