Inspiration

How can we support with openDATA the most vulnerable groups during conflicts and humanitarian crisis.

What it does

Our openData for RGA Actionplans provide trusted Information from local community builder to Humanitarian Organization. Through a playful storytelling and story collecting method (using the Care RGA Interview structure) we aggregate openData for Rapid Gender Analysis (RGA) Projects to shape better Actionplans.

How we built it

We plan to build it with Azure. We plan to connect all openDATA related to Gendered Crisis with the openDATA sets of the UN and the already existing RGA data sets from Care and Plan International.

Challenges we ran into

We develop a Social Open Innovation in the intersection of the following SGDs Goals: 1, 2, 5, 13, 16, 17. So the Challenge is tough and we are open to everyone working in one or several of this Goals.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We formed an international team:) And now we are connected with the Plan International Team and the Care RGA Team.

What we learned

We learned a lot... including many new technical skills like Azure, Machine Learning, and made our first steps

What's next for openData for RGA Actionplans

We try to collect and analyse data efficiently from various data sources to PRODUCE FASTER, CHEAPER AND RICHER RGA openDate Project to empower Humanitarian Interaction in Gendered Crisis.

New Technologies & Storytelling to provide better relieve and support in Gendered Crisis

Through Serious Games and the use of new technologies and open hardware (IoT, sensors, cameras etc.) we empower community builder to collect openData for RGA Projects.
