Inspiration
As we began to explore the community and contribute to projects, we realized there was a need for a centralized resource that could provide guidance and support for those just starting out. And so, Open Book was born.
What it does
Open Book is a web application designed to help beginners get started with open source development. The idea for the project came from our own experiences as new developers struggling to navigate the world of open source.
How we built it
We built Open Book using a variety of technologies, including HTML, CSS, and talwk to. We also used Tailwind CSS for styling. We made changes based on others feedback to create an app that is intuitive and easy to use.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we faced was creating an app that would be accessible to a wide range of users, regardless of their level of experience. We wanted to make sure that even complete beginners could use the app without feeling overwhelmed or confused.
One of the main challange we faced was time constraint ,Because we wanted to do a lot more in Project so we had to be practical about what could be achieved in this short span of time.
Overall, building Open Book was an incredibly rewarding experience. We hope that it will help many new developers get started with open source and feel confident contributing to the community.
What we learned
Building Open Book was a tremendous learning experience for us. We gained valuable knowledge about web development, including front-end and user interface design. We also learned about the importance of collaboration and community.
What's next for OpenBook
A great future, ofc.
