OpenArt Anthem

Inspiration

I use OpenArt almost daily, and I noticed how the platform creates both great results and funny frustrations. From few error messages to loading screens that never end, these glitches became inside jokes. I wanted to capture that mix of humor and creativity in a musical video.

What it does

OpenArt Anthem is a musical comedy video that celebrates AI art and its community. It blends lyrics, music, and AI generated visuals into a playful anthem that highlights both the beauty and the quirks of AI creativity.

How we built it

Lyrics: Written to rhyme in English, ChatGPT helped with rhymes Music: Generated with Suno, designed to sound like a playful rock/comedy anthem, Video: Created with OpenArt’s AI video generation, using Seedream 4.0 for image model and MiniMax Hailuo 02 for video model

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was tone: I didn’t want it to feel like mocking OpenArt, but celebrating it. Another challenge was technical: AI sometimes generated mismatched visuals.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to create a complete project that combines music, lyrics, and AI video into one story. It represents the spirit of the OpenArt community and turns shared frustrations into something fun and uplifting.

What we learned

I learned how AI tools for music and video can be combined into a unified narrative. I also learned how to balance humor with sincerity, and how much frustrating is generating images/videos which turn out bad so we need to repeat again until we are satisfied. I learned about myself that I am a perfectionist and image/video must be just like i have it in my head otherwise it is not good. And I am aware that AI and perfect images/videos are hard to get, we need to use what we get in best way if possible, otherwise it is a waste of time and money.
