Onya helps people find a willing volunteer nearby when they can’t get online. It started with your experience losing campus Wi-Fi at work. You might need help contacting someone or arranging something, while people nearby could help—but you don’t know who’s willing. With Onya, someone makes themselves available. You discover them, request a connection, and they choose whether to accept. You can then exchange text locally over Bluetooth, without internet for that conversation. Any outside task, such as ordering food, is handled manually by the helper.
