Onnit is born to become the leading Social Community Platform in Europe. A digital platform to address the impact of COVID-19 and to assist with the upcoming economic crisis.
With the global spread of COVID-19, our world is now more fragile and vulnerable than ever before. The rampant escalation of the crisis has caught Governments unprepared. No plans ready to address the pandemics, and little or no coordination across countries. But lessons were learned.
The challenge: although COVID-19 will not likely be the only pandemic afflicting our world in the next future, it is rapidly emerging as a powerful force shaping a new “world order”.
No country nor government will be able to get out of this crisis alone: more coordination and collaboration across individuals, multiple constituencies and institutions is key to trigger a transition towards a more sustainable future. This crisis is different from the ones the world experienced over the last 50 years. Adapting to a “new normal” is a challenge per se: but this time it carries unparalleled psychological costs, as well, which could contribute to undermining the very texture of our societies. It requires an unprecedented capability to mobilize talents, minds and skills across the board, a genuine endeavour to empowering individuals, communities, institutions to set in motion the kind of change the world needs to navigate this unprecedented transformation.
