We wanted an easy way to save recent stock trends
What it does
Saves stock trends that interest you using Tinder-style swiping
How we built it
We used javascript for front end functionality, python for the back end, and css to make it look clean. We also used Firebase for user authentication.
Challenges we ran into
As this was our first time making a website, it was to be expected that we ran into a few problems. The main problem was a consistently running server to host our flask script, which we needed for the website to update the stock information live.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A solid idea and a mean Readme.txt.
What we learned
Mixing Python and JavaScript is harder to accomplish than we had anticipated.
