🧠 Inspiration

Most professionals have marketable skills but struggle to monetize them consistently. At the same time, freelance platforms are cluttered, overwhelming, and require manual effort to apply for gigs. We asked ourselves: What if an AI agent could act like your digital business manager — finding, applying, and reporting back — while you focused on delivering value?

That’s how OnlyAgents was born — an agentic SaaS platform that helps individuals and businesses deploy task-specific AI agents to earn, automate, and act.

⚙️ What it does

OnlyAgents enables users to spin up AI agents that:

• Design decks, manages social media and automates all the grunt work.
• Use intelligent filtering and templated messaging to pitch you for relevant roles
• Send weekly earnings and lead-gen reports
• Can also run other workflows like job tracking, cold outreach, or compliance summaries

For SMBs and indie creators, it supports plug-and-play workflows like:

• An AI Influencer Agent for a Boba shop that posts content, replies to DMs, and tracks engagement
• An AI Admin Agent for solopreneurs handling outreach, contracts, and follow-ups

🛠️ How we built it

We used:

• Bolt.dev as the frontend agent playground
  
• n8n for orchestrating modular workflows with conditional logic and APIs
  
• **OpenAI for generating posts"
• **Fal for text to video model"
• Supabase for storing video urls and requests.
• Webhooks + Apify APIs to scrape and auto-apply to real freelance platforms

We focused on chaining together small, task-specific agents into reusable workflows.

🧗 Challenges we ran into

• Designing UI for visibility into agent behavior (trust & oversight)
  
• Building for both power users (devs) and non-technical SMBs
  
• Simulating user nuance without falling into generic LLM tone

🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Built a working MVP which returns full fledged posts and tiktok reels on any given topic.
• Shortlisted our Agent and buyer niche -> AI Influencer Agent for SMBs
• Received validation from interactions with multiple SMEs.

📚 What we learned

• LLMs + agents alone aren't enough — the next evolution will need personalized AI avatars that reflect your tone, preferences, and even strategy. This turns the agent into you, not just another bot.
• SMBs are a huge untapped market. They don’t need full-fledged CRMs or dashboards — they want something that “just works” to automate their hustle.
• Example: a Boba shop doesn’t want ChatGPT — they want an AI Influencer Agent that posts weekly drink promos, replies to DMs like a real employee, and builds loyalty.
• Chaining > monoliths. Reusable, composable agents make customization 10x easier.

🚀 What’s next for OnlyAgents

• Launch private beta with 10 indie freelancers and SMB owners
  
• Build avatar training workflows so agents reflect your unique style and voice
  
• Create agent templates for SMB use cases (e.g. social posting, async customer support, inventory pinging)
  
• Build analytics and monetization dashboards (earnings vs. agent effort)
