What it does
The Online Voting System is a web-based platform that allows users to participate in elections or surveys securely and efficiently. This system is designed to provide a seamless voting experience, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of each vote.
How we built it
Technology Stack - HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL.
Challenges we ran into
Challenge: Providing real-time updates on voting results while ensuring accuracy and consistency was challenging, especially when dealing with large datasets. Solution: We implemented a real-time data processing system using WebSockets for instant updates and optimized database operations to handle concurrent read/write operations efficiently.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
User Authentication: Secure login system for voters and administrators. Vote Casting: Secure and easy-to-use interface for casting votes. Real-time Results: Live updates on voting progress and instant results after the election ends.
