Inspiration

The start off youtube video.

What it does

A very simple document submitter. It takes a simple text input, and stores it in a database where a teacher can look up what a student wrote down.

How I built it

I started off with the basic HTML, and focusing on the JavaScript and NodeJS first, then moved over to making it look better.

Challenges I ran into

I forgot to install express, so nothing was working. I couldn't figure out how to use EJS quick enough. I don't know how to use the most current MongoDB API.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I made smooth pop-ups. One of the popups was an infinitely tall clipboard.

What I learned

I need to make much simpler projects.

What's next for online-student-submittals

I honestly don't know.
