Domestic violence is very common in the U.S., and while there are a lot of resources out there, women don't always know where to start. We set out to change that.
Our Online Resource Guide provides easy to find and navigate resources for women who have been the victim of domestic abuse here in the Bay Area.

Great team work, finished basic design of website, and a solid roadmap of future improvements. Created personas in the beginning to ensure we stay focused on the user experience. Utilized everybody's diverse skills very well.
Increased awareness of domestic violence, and issues surrounding domestic violence. Better understanding of the complexities involved, and the need to focus on one concrete area where we can make a difference.
Ideas for future improvements are adding crowd-sourced content, expansion to other cities, Spanish content, increased focus on donations, more collaboration with local agencies, including automated form submission to case workers, improvements to chat capabilities including volunteers who will interact with the women via chat.
