Inspiration

This idea came out of my Personal experience. I had to leave college and travel a decent amount of distance to get a new Bus Pass or getting it renewed and that too had to wait for a long time to get the job done. This was just a waste of time and energy for both the Students and the Government Officials. Hence I came up with this Idea to help people in saving time and energy.

What it does

It is a prototype which can be merged with Government DataBase to help students and people register for Bus Passes Online.This Application works on Aadhaar based information. For this demo version, since the API was not available we used mapping table.

How we built it

The backend in MSSQL(DataBase) and Asp.Net as technology and C# language. The front end with HTML5 and CSS3 and JavaScript for end reports.

Challenges we ran into

The most important challenge for this particular project is saving time and energy of both the govt. officials as well as students. If people accept this project it will definitely make people's lives easier.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We completed the prototype and the workflow runs perfectly as we expected.

What's next for Online Portal for Registration of Bus Passes

We will complete the application(since it is a prototype) and try to implement this in Punjab and save Time, money and energy of Government Officials as well as Students.
