Online Organ donation System

Inspiration

Blockchain based organ donation system The Organ Donation Blockchain prototype is developed as a proof-of-concept for a decentralized solution. It utilizes Ethereum as its underlying blockchain technology and is implemented on Remix, where the smart contract is compiled and deployed. MetaMask functions as a wallet, facilitating the management of simulated Ether supplied by Ganache. Additionally, a front-end interface application is constructed in JavaScript, which communicates with the backend through Web3.js.

How to run

Ensure that Ganache is running and linked to MetaMask. Go to https://remix.ethereum.org and import the OrganDonation.sol file. Compile and Deploy Smart Contract

Compile Solidity file.

Select Injected Web3 under Environment. Ensure the account address matches the one in Ganache. Deploy and confirm. Ensure that the smart contract address matches the one in the web3.js file (line 277). Otherwise, update the address.
