Inspiration
When I realized how many people are suffering today, I thought it would be the best for me to make a website that gives them instructions.
What it does
My website has a form to fill out, is asks you what kind of symptoms you have been going through! Once you hit submit, it gives you a recommendation. My website also has different pages about COVID, main types of diseases, and additional info.
How I built it
I was thinking about how I could, in someway, help people with early diagnosis of diseases. Online Health helper provides information about diseases and provides recommendations based on the symptoms. Early diagnosis is important as it helps plan ahead with future care and treatment. There are several diseases if diagnosed earlier has a better success rate. My website is intended to help with this early diagnosis and provide recommendation based on symptoms. My website is still in its early stages as I have to include information about more diseases, and it symptoms.
Challenges I ran into
Finding information about the different diseases and its symptoms has been challenging. There are lot of diseases out there, and I want to make my website a one-stop place where people can enter their symptoms and the Online Health helper will provide recommendation based on symptoms thus helping with early diagnosis.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of being able to make a website that let's you know what you should do, just by knowing what symptoms you have! The website is like an online doctor that you will have access to 24/7. Just enter your symptoms and it will provide you a diagnosis/recommendation based on the symptoms. There is still work to do as there are a lot of different types of diseases and symptoms - but once finished this will be a robust website where people have access to an online doctor anytime.
What I learned
I learned how to take multiple JS inputs, and come up with a result in JS.
What's next for Online Health Helper
I want to make Online Health Helper a very robust user-friendly system that anybody can use anytime when they are unwell to diagnose their disease and provide recommendation. Also I plan on adding a health station.
