This online application lets an organization set up an employee flu-shot campaign that tracks flu shots and awards prizes. An organization can have several campaigns and can track flu shots by department. At the end of a campaign, the organization can award prizes to random participants or to the winning departments. To comply with the rules of this contest, the CDC RSS feed is used throughout the process to educate people as they are using the website. The application also integrates with Facebook so that people can easily share when they have received a flu shot and thus help promote health in their community as well as at work. Features include:
Easy registration - an organization can have a campaign set up within minutes
Easy to manage - campaign organizers can easily set up departments, prizes, view results, edit dates, etc.
RSS integration - news is shown throughout the website from the CDC about current Flu news
Security - each campaign can only be accessed with a password that the campaign organizer gives to employees (to prevent non-affiliated people from entering a false flu shot)
HIPAA Compliance - employees can choose to remain anonymous when entering a flu shot
Facebook Integration - employees can easily share to their friends that they just had their flu-shot taken. This will promote health in the community by spreading the word about the benefits of flu shots
And ... it's fun! - Employees love competition - friendly competition, that is. And they also love prizes. This mixes the two in an easy-to-use and visually exciting way!
