Inspiration
We love education site as students and professionals. Mostly we love free education sites. So we wanted to contribute to the ease of starting and maintaining an educational site.
What it does
Host videos, quizzes, plugs into google support services. The bones for an educational website.
How we built it
Python, Javascript, a splash of css, and a ton of communication on discord.
Challenges we ran into
Our biggest challenge was being spread across four different time zones.

Secondly it was connecting all our code. Ninety percent of our code was done in the first twenty four hours. Then it was a matter of putting it together and understanding everyones vision for how their code would connect into the final codebase. That took a considerably greater amount of time.
Discord and github/projects were the biggest help.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making working code always feels good. Especially when when you can see your small part in the project but you know you could not have done it on your own.
If you squint real hard and forget about the last thirty hours, it almost feels like magic.
What we learned
A lot about endpoints. Goodness. So much about endpoints. Building a piece of code is infinitely easier than connecting it
What's next for Online Education Framework
Three of our four developers are going to continue the project. There are some open source resources that we can integrate that will make our own project a lot more user-friendly. So those with a passion to teach won't be hampered by technology.
