Inspiration
The inspiration for our project, the "Online Doctor Consultation Booking Website for a hospital," stemmed from the growing need for accessible and convenient healthcare services, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We recognized that people often faced difficulties in booking doctor appointments and accessing medical services in a timely manner, leading to potential health risks. This inspired us to create a solution that would make healthcare more accessible and user-friendly.
What it does
Our project is a web-based platform that allows users to easily book doctor consultations at a hospital of their choice. The platform serves as a bridge between patients and healthcare providers, offering several key features:
User Registration: Patients can create accounts, providing their basic information and medical history, making it easier for doctors to understand their needs.
Doctor Listings: Users can browse through a list of available doctors, view their profiles, specialties, and availability.
Appointment Booking: Patients can select a doctor, choose a convenient time slot, and book an appointment.
Feedback and Ratings: Patients can leave feedback and ratings for doctors, helping others make informed choices.
How we built it
We built our Online Doctor Consultation Booking Website using a combination of web development technologies. Here's an overview of the tech stack and development process:
