Online Dictionary using Wix Velvo

Inspiration

We wanted to challenge ourselves by learning how to implement APIs in web development.

What it does

A user inputs a word into the search bar and it returns the word as well as its definition, pronunciation, synonyms and antonyms.

How we built it

Using WEX Velvo and an external API

What's next for Online Dictionary using Wix Velvo

There are multiple bugs that need to be fixed (for instance some words do not return data). We also discussed making the site more interactive, so that the user can click on a synonym and they would be taken to that word's details.
