📌 About the Project

Our project is a web-based platform that enables professionals — such as lawyers, financial advisors, business consultants, and other specialists — to offer individual online consultations via video call or chat. Clients can search for experts based on their specialization, book time slots, and connect directly through a secure and intuitive interface. The platform is designed to support independent practice, empower experts to reach clients directly, and make professional services more accessible and convenient.

The platform was built during a hackathon by two developers using AI Bolt.new, which allowed us to develop the entire system quickly, cleanly, and without any technical difficulties, enabling us to stay fully focused on the user experience and business logic.

💡 What Inspired Us

We were inspired by the growing demand for accessible, flexible, and remote professional services. Whether it’s getting legal advice, financial planning support, or strategic business consultation — people often don’t know where to turn for help. Meanwhile, many qualified experts are seeking ways to practice independently without relying on agencies or large platforms that charge high commissions or limit flexibility.

We saw a need for a minimal, professional, and scalable solution where any specialist can create a profile and start consulting clients on their own terms. Our platform makes it possible for professionals to establish a trusted digital presence and for clients to find and consult the right expert — from anywhere.

🛠️ How We Built It

The entire application was developed as part of a hackathon sprint. We used AI Bolt.new to speed up development by:

• Scaffolding the frontend and backend structure
• Generating components for user flows, booking, and chat
• Creating reusable logic for form handling, authentication, and scheduling

🤖 Development Experience

With Bolt.new, the development process was smooth, fast, and error-free. We didn’t face any blockers or bugs, which allowed us to:

• Rapidly build and refine UX flows
• Ensure clean architecture and maintainability
• Focus on the actual problems users face, rather than technical setup

By leveraging AI to handle much of the foundational code, we had more time to design meaningful interactions and build features that directly address our users’ needs.

🧠 What We Learned

This project helped us understand the dynamics of multi-role systems, the importance of clear onboarding for both experts and clients, and how to balance professional functionality with simplicity. We also learned how valuable AI tools like Bolt.new can be when building full-stack applications under time constraints.

We explored how flexibility, trust, and communication are the pillars of online professional services — and designed our product with those values in mind.
