Inspiration
I needed an idea for hackagong and noticed that good inventions come from needs, so thought that businesses should be able to post issues online for people to solve, many of these could be solved at hackagong in the form of a startup.
What it does
It allows small businesses to draw from an unseen talent pool by posting issues they need solved and people from within the community to solve those issues for as little as a bit of exposure or as high a price as money or freebies.
How I built it
My Business Partner - Sash Ristov; helped develop our website ideas and drew up the wireframes; I programmed it in HTML (as the base code - we may add PHP or SQL later if we add an account system.)
Accomplishments we are proud of
The logo and background design - never thought that a logo and background could be designed that well in 30 hours with the rest of the website.
Challenges I ran into
Deciding what features to include and what features to leave out to allow us to meet the 30 hour mark.
What I learned
30 hours is not as much time as we thought (need better time management next year).
What's next for Online Community Collaboration (OCC)
If we collectively decide to continue with it, OCC will be released and placed on a paid hosting server, made to look a lot nicer, and have more features added such as accounts, Message boards, etc.
