Track - HEALTH
Inspiration:
I wanted to create a project for the Health track. I thought of a webapp which would allow a user to book an ambulance the same way you can book a cab on apps like Uber and Lyft.
What it does:
The webapp will have three kinds of users - customers, hospitals and admins. My webapp would allow customers to book an ambulance the same way you can book a cab on apps like Uber and Lyft. It would also allow hospitals to add ambulances to the app.
How I built it:
I started the project with MERN stack - mongodb, express.js, react.js and node.js.
Challenges I ran into:
I could only submit basic code right now. I was unable to fully complete this solo project.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of:
It was a great first hackathon experience. Although a complete code wasn't submitted, I got to learn about new technologies and it was a fun experience coming up with an idea for Health track.
What I learned:
New technologies while working on this project. Also, the workshops and other resources obtained during the hackathon were great.
What is next:
I will be completing this webapp and also integrating google maps into it to optimize the path taken by the ambulance from hospital to location and from location to hospital.
