Inspiration - Ingenu Hackathon announcement
What it does - OnGuard provides fence security using Ingenu's RPMA technology for areas where wi-fi is hard to come by
How we built it - Create a circuit where a light source and a photo-resistor form an invisible fence line. When this line is tripped, the rACM board sends an alarm all the way to the app on the mobile device.
Challenges we ran into - Voltage fluctuations on GPIO pins on the rACM board
Accomplishments that we're proud of - We made it work and did not start a fire.
What we learned - A good deal about electrical engineering
What's next for OnGuard - To use it elsewhere
