As when we move to an unfamiliar city the major problem we face is to find the proper transportation for our traveling and find it difficult to find the bases of our desired transport. Secondly, we don't have such a powerful transportation map for our transport system.
"OneStopAway" makes it easy for people to find all information related to Private and Public Transport Infrastructures. This app will provide the schedule of the transport system and the transport base that is from which base which services are running and what are their schedules and information about the cities to which they provide services, in simple words, it provides all the information about "Inter-City Transport". Secondly, it provides information and locations of the local transport floating infrastructures like local vans, Metro Bus Service, Rapid Bus Services, Rickshaw, Local Taxi Services.
I am using Flutter UI Framework for the front-end development, and Firebase at the backend.
Major problems I have faced during this project is collecting information about the bases and the services, finding proper route information, in making people understand this idea.
I am proud of my project because this project will help local people to see the information about the transportation infrastructure at their one click and it will bring a change in currently present transportation system and the system that deals with it.
I have learned Flutter UI, FIrebase, google maps, android development techniques, android studio platform, emulators.
Currently "OneStopAway will provide just information and locations about the transport systems and i have already presented my idea to KhyberPakhtunhawa (KPK) government in order to sponsor my project through financial aid and manpower so that I can further work on making the transport system of Pakistan a Digital Transport system. I also think about launching our own booking app like Cream, Uber to facilitate the people that will work with this app, and to increase the revenue of Pakistan."
