Inspiration

Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with depression. Leaving my room felt impossible, and even virtual team meetings triggered anxiety. I needed to earn a living without stepping outside, so I started an e‑commerce store. But running it meant endless competitor research, copywriting, and graphic design – tasks normally done by a full marketing team. The workload worsened my condition, and I realized that millions of people with physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, or severe social anxiety face the same barrier: they have talent and drive, but traditional workplaces exclude them. I built this tool not only to save myself, but to give anyone in a similar situation a way to contribute and earn independently.

What it does

Upload one product photo – our AI automatically scrapes and analyzes competitors across major platforms, extracts market trends and consumer pain points from reviews, and generates professional, brand‑tailored promotional images. In minutes, you receive a market intelligence report and ready‑to‑use ad creatives. No designer, no analyst, no copywriter, and no physical office required. It replaces an entire marketing team with one click.

How we built it

We used Python with Scrapy for web scraping, fine‑tuned GPT and Claude models for sentiment analysis and copy generation, and Stable Diffusion / DALL‑E API for image synthesis. The frontend is React, backend Node.js, with PostgreSQL for data storage. Docker containers orchestrate the pipeline, deployed on AWS for scalability.

Challenges we ran into

Teaching AI to identify truly compelling selling points was the hardest part – customer reviews are noisy and competitor features vary wildly. We had to train models on thousands of real product listings and A/B test generated copy against actual ad performance. Also, generating images that consistently match brand styles required extensive prompt engineering and iterative fine‑tuning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a working prototype that cuts 90% of manual effort for product launches. More importantly, we proved that an AI‑driven automation can empower people who are often left out of the workforce – including those with mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or caregiving responsibilities – to run a competitive business from home.

What we learned

Technology can be a great equalizer. Solving my own personal pain point led to a solution that could help millions. I also learned that empathy and accessibility are not afterthoughts – they must be built into the core design from day one to create truly inclusive tools.

What's next for OneShot Market AI

We plan to integrate with Shopify, Amazon, and Etsy, add support for video creatives, and build a community hub where users share success stories. Our ultimate vision is to make entrepreneurship accessible to anyone, regardless of physical or mental condition – turning isolation into independence.
