Many companies and operations were forced to close their operations, employees and breadwinners remained at home, which meant a hunger for technology to communicate, cooperate, but especially to how they will respond to situations. Common business situations, such as canceling orders, signing contracts or concluding new ones, are quite complicated and expensive when working from home. The existing barrier for many legal entities - the absence of their own digital identity, which would be in a simple and, above all, credible way provable, does not allow them to react flexibly to the situations that have arisen.

The solution is a new digital electronic identity, developed in the EBSI (European Blockchain Services Infrastructure) project, in which the European Commission and the countries associated in the EBP (European Blockchain Partnership) participate. Currently used use cases such as Notarization for Auditing Purposes, Self Sovereign Identity and Trusted Data Sharing will allow us to expand with a solution:COVID19 Immunity Passport

"Immunity Passport" was created as an initiative of more than 60 companies working on projects using the Self Sovereign Identity and preparing a joint global solution. We are working together (as a Contributor) to create a verifiable digital document which, together with its signature from the appropriate health authority, then allows individuals / groups / companies to prove (and demand evidence from others) that they have recovered from a new coronavirus, tested for antibodies or received vaccinations ( as soon as it is available).

The use of this evolving platform will have a huge impact on the user base even after these unpleasant measures are over. Because every user will be able to use them for B2B, B2C or even C2C communication.

We planned the implementation of the mentioned solution within 4 months. Subsequent testing and verification of connectivity between other EBSI nodes should be completed within 6 months.
