Inspiration What inspired me to create this website was when I noticed how frustrating and inconvenient it was to open up multiple tabs and search for a multitude of things relating to COVID-19 like how to protect myself from it, what if I don't hand sanitizer, how I can help others during this time, etc. Not only that, but I also wanted to get my information from credible sources to ensure everything about COVID-19 was indeed factual and proven. This is why I decided to create a website. So people can come onto one website conveniently and navigate through what they want to know, knowing everything has been proven and said by the CDC.

What it does This website serves to help others gain factual information about COVID-19 as the website has multiple tabs ranging in from mental health resources to an accurate COVID-19 tracker.

How I built it I used Spotify developer to embed my playlists onto the website and everything else I coded on my own, strictly using only HTML as I wanted to challenge myself to see how far I could go with just using HTML, no CSS or Javascript. A challenge I ran into One of the main challenges I went through was having to embed the BCC news tab. It was very difficult to figure out how to implement onto HTML because everywhere on Google, it seemed like I could only embed the recent news scroll using API which was something I was unfamiliar with. Although I did attempt to implement Google's API onto my coding, it didn't turn out successful which is okay, because I'm still trying to learn more about Google's API, so I could embed Google News as well and hopefully Google Maps. Accomplishments that I'm proud of I'm proud that I managed to implement the Spotify playlists and BCC News, news scroll because they were both very difficult to learn and code with especially since I was only using HTML. In fact, I was thinking breaking my HTML only challenge because the process for both challenges was incredibly stressful and I had spent over 4 hours trying to learn how to embed them into HTML, but eventually, I figured out how to solve both challenges through watching a ton of youtube videos and reading plenty of blogs What I learned I learned that it's possible to code a whole interactive website with HTML. I always thought that I'd need CSS to style my fonts, alignment, color, etc., but I realized through this process that a lot of things that I would usually code on CSS, can easily be applied to HTML through some fixtures and additions of code.

What's next for One-Stop Info-Covid-19

I plan on sharing my website on social media and hope others find my website useful! I also plan on updating this website daily with new DIYs, resources, playlists, etc.
