The OneShot App Prompt Generator

helps transform ideas into code quickly. Spend less time typing & let our prompt generator do the heavy lifting!

How we built it

I used Gemini 2.5 pro for inspiration for my prompt & tried in a few different chats in Bolt but we always ran into issues with the Gemini API. Eventually I told Bolt I wanted to start again from scratch in a new chat, and told it to give me the best prompt to do so, based on what we had learnt while troubleshooting. We still ran into the API issues but that attempt resulted in the best UI so far so I decided to troubleshoot it (using Gemini 2.5 pro, Bolt & Gemini's documentation) until I resolved the API issue.

Challenges we ran into

It was built with one single prompt, but required extensive troubleshooting, mostly to get the Gemini API right (see above).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

While it should have been relatively simple, the API issue was not something Bolt managed to resolve on it's own. I'm proud I managed to feed it the correct info that lead to the resolution.
