Can AI generate not just the app—but even the idea for the app?
That was the spark behind this project. It’s not just about turning a good idea into reality using AI. What if AI is the genius behind the idea itself?

For the One Shot Prompt Challenge, we wanted to go all-in on that vision:

One prompt. One AI. One stunning app.

🌍 What It Does

Climate Quest: Race to Net Zero is a dynamic, immersive, and gamified experience that explores the impact of climate change through:

  • Interactive storytelling
  • Real-time decision-making
  • Mini-games and simulations
  • Live data dashboards
  • AI-generated visuals and climate narratives

It makes users the protagonist in humanity’s fight against climate change—all powered by a single AI-generated prompt.

🛠️ How We Built It

This app was born entirely from a single, comprehensive AI-generated prompt, crafted by ChatGPT. The process:

  1. We asked ChatGPT to ideate an award-winning one-shot prompt
  2. It proposed the concept, visuals, interactivity, gameplay, and messaging
  3. The entire prompt—including a "How We Built This" section—was then copy-pasted directly into Bolt.new
  4. Bolt.new instantly turned the prompt into a fully functioning, visually rich app

No manual coding. No assets. No design files.
Just one AI talking to another.

🧩 Challenges We Ran Into

  • Initially attempted to build the entire app on a mobile phone, which introduced some Chrome-related compatibility hiccups with Bolt.new
  • Switching to desktop solved everything instantly—the app built flawlessly in a single shot
