Inspiration

A full tower-defense strategy game you can play with one finger, one-handed — a mash-up of Paper.io (draw to claim), build-and-defend kingdoms, and Vampire Survivors (roguelite builds).

What it does

Three actions, one gesture — CLAIM (drag to claim territory), BUILD (lasso to upgrade towers and walls), HERO (level up and draw skill cards into your own Spec). Defend your kingdom against waves rising from underground nests.

How we built it

We studied proven mainstream games and pulled out the parts that made them work, then focused on the core tower-defense experience and fused them into one CLAIM·BUILD·HERO loop.

Challenges we ran into

Tower defense runs on complex, layered decisions — the challenge was making all of that executable on a phone, with a single finger, without overwhelming the player.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A player-decision mental model with real rhythm and layers — a loop that stays readable even as the choices stack up.

What we learned

We've shipped games before, but compressing a deep tower-defense experience into one finger on mobile was a new kind of challenge — it pushed all of our research into that single focus.

What's next for One Finger TD

Cross-run meta progression (shards unlock heroes / upgrade towers) social modes (PVE co-op, PVP MOBA).
