The idea for this project was born one evening while I was reading a book to my daughter. I came across a passage stating that by 2050 there may be more plastic in the oceans than fish — a note referring to the massive “garbage island” forming west of California. That moment stayed with me. It made me think about how our small, everyday choices contribute to such outcomes.

This inspired me to create a short film told from the perspective of a single plastic bottle that someone didn’t throw away — and to follow its long journey all the way to the ocean.
