🚀 Inspiration
In moments of urgency—debugging code, understanding a medical report, analyzing an image, or learning a new concept—people don’t want to search endlessly or switch between tools. We were inspired to build ONE AI, an instant expert that reasons in real time and adapts to the user’s needs. Our goal was simple but ambitious: what if one AI could act as your on-demand expert for any domain, instantly?
🧠 What it does
ONE AI is a real-time multimodal reasoning assistant powered by Google’s Gemini models. Users can ask complex questions in natural language and receive fast, accurate, and well-reasoned responses. The system is designed to behave like an “instant expert,” capable of explaining topics clearly, solving problems step-by-step, and adapting explanations based on user intent.
The focus is not just answering questions—but reasoning through them.
🛠️ How we built it
We built ONE AI using:
Django for a robust and scalable backend
Google Gemini API (Gemini 2.5 Flash) for fast, high-quality reasoning
HTML/CSS for a clean, minimal, and intuitive UI
Secure environment configuration for API key management
The backend validates user input, sends it to Gemini for reasoning, and renders responses instantly, ensuring low latency and a smooth user experience.

Identifying the correct Gemini models supported by the API version
Handling empty or invalid user inputs safely
Designing a clean UX under tight time constraints
Ensuring fast response times without sacrificing answer quality
