Inspiration
There's a 25% increase in mortality risk in rural trauma vs urban. This is a result of less equipped hospitals and doctors who are forced to work out their immediate area of expertise without a network of specialists to advise them.
What it does
OnCall connects doctors and surgeons in emergency situations to a network of specialists from prestigious institutions to ensure the highest quality of care for all, regardless of geographic location.
How we built it
The project was built in Android Studio with the help of the QuickBlox video calling library and mocked up in Adobe Comp.
What we learned
We learned about the variance in quality of care across different hospitals and clinics.

Seek legal counsel regarding physician liability, leverage Stanford network to establish a foundation of consultants, seek grant funding from over 176 rural health funding sources available, adding multiplatform support, SMS/MMS connections
